I can’t decide if I should buy the new iPhone or the old one (unlocked) because someone told me that the new iPhone won’t go on eBay unlocked but the old one is already on eBay unlocked. So what should i do?

i have one sprint phone a katana to be exact and i want to buy a blackberry from ebay. can i do that? i know that cingular you can just switch the SIMS cards but we dont have those with Sprint. So yea….anyone have any ideas?

What does locked and unlocked mean…I remember seeing this on Ebay too.

If I buy the phone on eBay can I go to a Verizon Wireless store and have them activate it for me? Or will they tell me that they can’t because I bought the phone on ebay and not from one of their stores?
