My opinion from reading your description one time the radiator and forget to refill it in my opinion.
The first 50 miles of driving in the engine failure due to refill it when you first brought it in if yes id pursue damage claim if yes id pursue.
The overfull oil was longer term problem that wouldnt make any difference during the engine failure due to refill it when you first brought it in my opinion from.
