You can accept payment by ANY means you set. That could even mean the buy gives you cash. The most common method is to use a Pay Pal account. When I registered as a seller, I was not required to give bank information. However, it did set up a Pay Pal account though the E-Bay registration. I also linked the Pay Pal account to a bank account the same day.
