Is it a smart investment to buy land parcels on Ebay?

I want to get into buying land holds and have been looking into Ebay. Is it still a smart idea to buy land parcels and leave them alone now in this market today hoping they will gain value? Also is Ebay a good place to look? I dont care where in the country but I want to start out small…any advice?
